This is a film about going out into the world. The puer aeternus realizes he has left arcadia and cannot return to the womb simply by remaining a child. He must go up and outward. The primordial divinities, the asuras, turn to devils when they are overthrown by the devas. Yet the devas understand and maintain the original power within the asuras. The puer aeternus sees a devil in the world. He refuses food and hides behind the toilet. He asks himself big questions. How to talk and make in the light of the sun? How to go out of the cave into the world and see holy, holy, holy? How to come into being and retain the epithet asura?
